This is an unknown Chinese variety, thin walled, slightly wrinkled, and soft. I obtained the seed from a Chinese coworker who speaks very little English and didn't know the name. It appears to be a red variety of Capsicum chinense. Very hot with a lingering burn and a bit of sweetness. Good for sauces and stirfries. Very hardy and high yielding in windward Hawaii, this is a robust plant that will overwinter for years as a perennial.
